Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for your enquiry.
How I use your information
I use personal information only where it is reasonably necessary to operate the website and provide DJ services.

Google Analytics & Search Console
Google Analytics
I use, or may use, Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website. Google Analytics may process information such as page views, session statistics, approximate location, device and browser information, and identifiers stored in first party cookies.
Non essential analytics storage should only be enabled after the relevant cookie choice has been made where consent is required. Analytics information is used in aggregate to improve the website, understand traffic and measure performance. I do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers or event enquiry details to Google Analytics.
Google Search Console
I may use Google Search Console to understand how the website appears in Google Search, including search queries, impressions, clicks, indexing and technical search performance. Search Console is a webmaster reporting service and is not used by me as a separate on site visitor tracking cookie.
Meta Pixel & future advertising tools
I may add the Meta Pixel or similar advertising measurement tools in the future. If enabled, these tools may receive information about visits and actions on the website, browser or device information, cookie or advertising identifiers and information used to measure whether advertising resulted in a website visit or enquiry.
Marketing or advertising tracking will not be treated as essential to the operation of the site. Where consent is required, it should only be activated after you have chosen to allow the relevant marketing cookies or tracking technologies.
This policy is written to cover Google Analytics and the possible future use of Meta Pixel. If materially different tracking or advertising technology is introduced, this policy should be updated accordingly.
Cookies & similar technologies
Cookies are small files or browser storage items used for functions such as remembering preferences, measuring website usage and supporting advertising measurement.
This website may use:
- Essential technologies required for security, forms or core website functions.
- Analytics technologies used to understand website performance, including Google Analytics.
- Marketing technologies such as Meta Pixel if introduced in the future.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser. Where a consent banner is used, you can also use that control to accept or reject non essential categories. Rejecting analytics or marketing cookies should not prevent you from accessing the core content of the website.
Who information may be shared with
I do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with service providers or professional advisers involved in operating the website or fulfilling a booking.
- Website hosting, email and technical service providers.
- Google, where Google Analytics or Search Console services are used.
- Meta, if Meta Pixel or Meta advertising tools are enabled in the future.
- Trusted sound, lighting, production or event suppliers where their involvement is necessary for your event.
- Accountants, legal advisers, insurers or authorities where required for legitimate business administration or by law.
Where a supplier needs event information, I aim to share only what is reasonably required for that supplier to provide the relevant service.
International data processing
Some technology providers, including Google and Meta, operate internationally. As a result, information processed through analytics, advertising or cloud services may be handled or stored outside the United Arab Emirates.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, I will use service providers and arrangements intended to provide an appropriate level of protection and will handle transfers in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
How long information is kept
I keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including managing enquiries and bookings, maintaining business records, resolving disputes and complying with legal or accounting obligations.
Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries may be deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed. Booking, invoice and payment records may need to be retained for longer where required for business, accounting, tax or legal purposes.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, transfer of data, withdrawal of consent or objection to certain processing.
The UAE Personal Data Protection Law provides individuals with rights relating to their personal data and places obligations on organisations that process it. Some rights and exemptions depend on the circumstances.
To make a privacy request, email dj@markevans.ae. I may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.
Security
I take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against accidental loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No internet service or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so information should only be submitted where appropriate.
Children
The booking services on this website are intended for adults arranging events. I do not knowingly seek to collect personal data directly from children through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authority, contact me so the situation can be reviewed.
Third party links
The website may contain links to services such as WhatsApp, social media platforms, music platforms or third party websites. Those services operate under their own privacy notices and terms. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of third party websites that I do not control.
